In a first for an LYSA team, the Lincoln Blue Angels U10 girls team captured the U10 premier championship at WWIS on March 30th with consecutive wins over Explosion FC (2-0) and Lusitana (4-1) in the final.
Coached by Chris Clark and Bud Salome, the team will continue its groundbreaking season by competing in the Massachusetts Premier League (MAPLE), another first for our Association. Congratulations girls and good luck!
The U14 Girls team coached by Jon Carson capped a near perfect indoor session by winning the title on March 30th at Wide World of Indoor Sports. Undefeated over ten games, the girls earned a hard fought 3-2 victory over Johnston in the final. Congratulations girls and Coach Carson!
The Lincoln United U8 girls, coached by Mike Picard and Joao Santos, took home the hardware last week as champs of the WWIS February Tournament! Congratulations girls!
FC Lincoln, coached by David Ortiz, won another U14 boys indoor tournament last week. With an unbeaten record, the team took the WWIS February Tournament. Our congratulations.
Congratulations to the Lincoln Blue Angels U10 Girls, who placed first in their division at the Martin Luther King Day Tournament held at WWIS on January 21st.
And congratulations to the Lincoln Young Freedom U8 Girls team, who made it to the finals in their very first tournament!
